PRESS Room is bar & music lounge on the 2nd floor of Crosstown Station.  Open select weekdays and most weekend nights for concerts and events, PRESS is also a great place for your next private party.  With room for 50-300 guests, panoramic views of downtown Kansas City, off-street parking, built in Audio & Video systems, flat screen TVs, and projection capabilities PRESS Room is one of the most flexible spaces you could plan your next event.  If it is concerts you are into, you will enjoy seeing & hearing your favorite bands on our elevated stage and lounge seating platforms.  A 100-year-old brick building and solid wood ceiling give PRESS Room that warm feel & warm sound that only a place with history can provide.

Located right next to the Kansas City Star newspaper press, we are in a unique spot.  Perfect views of the new Sprint Center alongside the Power & Light district to the North are accompanied by unobstructed views of the Crossroads Arts District, Crown Center, & The Liberty Memorial to the South.  There is not a better place to hang out and take in panoramic views of our fine city.  In addition to the view, we are walking distance from all the concerts & events taking place at the Sprint Center and Midland Theater.  Just blocks from P&L if you are out bar hopping or the perfect place to end your First Friday gallery hopping (we have art to!).  So that's PRESS... our motto says it's, "off the record," but we had to let you in on some of it.  Come on down and get the rest of the story yourself.

If you are interested in all the great events & shows we throw at PRESS, surf to the calendar page and check out what is going on.
